I don’t need a man to bankroll my existence. I don’t chase control under the disguise of love. If I say partnership, I mean partnership....not guardianship. I’d rather eat noodles out the pack on my own than live steak dinners off somebody else’s wallet and call it stability.
I respect boundaries because I have my own. I fought too hard for my freedom to shackle someone else’s. I don’t play with illusions. My wealth is respect, presence, reciprocity, and truth. That’s my currency. That’s my backbone.
I ain’t building my life on contradictions. You can keep that circus. I’ll be outside the tent, sipping water, watching the clowns perform.
