I want to live without conforming. Wear what I want, see what I want, listen to what feeds me, and honor my own rhythms. The world is loud, opinionated, messy. I will not waste my energy trying to fix it for others.
At the same time, I will not be closed off. I will meet the world, cautiously, deliberately, aware that not everyone deserves my trust or my heart. Some lessons are earned by observation, not trial. Some relationships are measured by what they contribute, not what I give away.
