Micromanagement Sucks

I think we all know that feeling when you’re trying to get something done, but instead of being trusted to handle your tasks, you’re micromanaged to death. That was my reality with the so-called “dual-rate supervisor” in operations.

Instead of addressing real problems, she’d find the tiniest flaws to pick at, like she was on a mission to make my job harder. It felt like I was always under a microscope, just waiting for the next "flaw" to be discovered. All I wanted was the space to do my job—keep inventory in check, manage logistics—but it was like I couldn’t catch a break.

Even with all the distractions and unnecessary scrutiny, I kept pushing forward. Why? Because I knew what I was doing and was committed to doing it well.
