When They Say “Do Nothing,” What They Really Mean

It seems as though that there are people in the world who really are trying to rewrite history as if it's not unfolding in front of our eyes.
They flood timelines to cause confusion within their own delusion so that they can help you stop paying attention long enough to believe the same thing that they are choosing to believe or that they're trying to play in our face....

Lately, people keep saying, “Democrats did nothing to protect voting rights.”
Cute.
That’s like blaming the fire department for the arsonist locking the hydrant.

But here's what actually happened though.

Back in 2013, the Supreme Court (not Congress) gutted the Voting Rights Act in Shelby County v. Holder.
Because of that situation a whole bunch of states begin changing the laws, redistricting clothing stations and doing things to cause the drama when it comes to voter registration. Under the guys that it was illegals who were doing the voting.

Fast-forward to 2021 and Brnovich v. DNC  :
They didn’t just weaken the Voting Rights Act; they redefined what “discrimination” even means, like racism suddenly needed a new password to log in.

And through it all, people keep saying “Democrats sat on their hands.”

No, they filed bills. John Lewis Voting Rights Act. For the People Act.
Both passed the House. Both choked in the Senate because Republicans pulled the filibuster card ...again.
You can’t rebuild the bridge when one side keeps blowing up the planks.

And the crazy part about that is...
Every time the truth starts showing its face, a new headline pops up:
“Illegal immigrants are voting!”
“Sanctuary cities are stealing your voice!”
That’s bait.

Noncitizens can’t vote in federal or state elections...  Period. But the lie travels faster than the correction because fear has better PR.

The whole goal is to distract and make a distraction so big that they can change the rules on a random Tuesday...

This isn’t about “both sides.” It never was.
It’s about who benefits when the water gets muddy ..who profits when the average person throws up their hands and says, “Both parties are trash.”
That kind of cynicism isn’t wisdom; it’s surrender dressed up as sophistication.

Yes, Democrats have flaws,  but pretending both teams play by the same rules is like saying rain and rust are equally to blame for the flood.

Voting rights weren’t “given.” They were fought for, beaten for, and buried for.
That’s why watching them get chipped away under fake neutrality hits different.
We’ve seen this movie before....

So the problem isn’t “too many people voting.”
The problem is too many people believing their vote doesn’t matter ....that the system’s already cooked, so why bother.
That’s the endgame... They call it suppression when it's really surrender.

Don’t take the bait.
When people start saying “our votes are being drowned out,” ask by who ...and watch them stutter.

Them same folks yelling “protect democracy” when it’s convenient are usually the ones standing on the hose when the fire starts.
