So… I Finally Committed.


And honestly? I felt the difference almost immediately. Once I eliminated the junk and actually focused on hydration, iron intake, and nutrient-dense foods, my body responded. My swelling went down again, my energy picked up, and my digestion got better.

I really tried to stay strict leading up to surgery. For the most part, I did exactly what I was supposed to.

But listen… I ain’t gonna lie. The cravings tried to take me out. 😩

The closer I got to surgery, the more I wanted everything I wasn’t supposed to have. I mean, I was still following the plan, but it took everything in me not to slip up.

The Countdown Begins…

Now, it’s just a waiting game. Surgery is right around the corner, and I’m going in knowing that I actually put in the effort to give my body the best chance at a smooth recovery.

Dr. O’Ryan said he’d check in with me again before the procedure, and trust me—I will NOT be getting another lecture. This time, I’m ready. No more shortcuts.

Now, let’s get this over with. πŸ’ͺ🏾😀
