Today, begin April. with a prayer.
God, I place this month of April in Your hands.
Lead the way. Set straight anything that has shifted out of alignment. If there are places in my life where the foundation has tilted, restore the balance. If there are paths that no longer serve the purpose You placed in me, close them with clarity.
I have learned that growth is rarely quiet. Sometimes it breaks pieces of who you thought you were. But what once tried to break me will not walk with me into this next chapter.
That season has done its work.
Now I step forward with peace and progress. Delays that once lingered too long must release their hold. The right doors will open in their time, and when they do, I will recognize them.
The weight I have carried.. expectations, disappointments, misunderstandings, battles seen and unseen, I lay it down fully. A traveler moves further when the unnecessary load is released.
The word purpose comes from the Old French purpos, meaning “intention set before oneself.” It is not wandering. It is direction. It is a decision about where the soul intends to go.
That is the posture I carry into this month.
God, keep my mind disciplined and my spirit steady. Guard my focus so it does not scatter across distractions that steal time and energy. Let my actions align with the path You have already prepared ahead of me.
Growth requires patience. Healing requires honesty. Forward motion requires courage. I ask that this season hold all three.
Let April become a place of restoration,vwhere old wounds close and new strength forms beneath the surface. Let it be a season where the steps I take are deliberate, steady, and guided.
Because time is not something to spend carelessly.
I refuse to waste what has been entrusted to me.
I will move with intention.
I will move with discipline.
I will move with purpose.
And as I step forward into the days ahead, I do so with faith that the path is already being prepared.
