Today's Total Solar Eclipse got people excited, but where I am in New Orleans, it was cloudy, so we didn't see much. The sky got a bit darker, and the air got cooler, making some birds hide in trees. But it didn't last long, and soon it got bright again.
I didn't need special glasses to watch, so I snapped a quick picture. On TV, they showed how the eclipse looked across the country, and it seemed like people in different places reacted differently. My best friend drove to Texas and was happy to witness it apparently.
Even though not everyone saw it well, the eclipse brought people together to watch something rare. I hope we all remember the cool feeling of watching it together until the next one in twenty years.
