Embracing Space and Self

Posted some decent pictures on my Facebook page and within an hour, I had a handful of new people reaching out, saying nice things and wanting to chat. It was refreshing, and for the record, I was just wearing a tube top. Nothing scandalous!

Thinking about spending tomorrow working on the yard to help me relax and maybe get a decent night's sleep. There's not much going on during the day anyway, and I could use a break from people. Lately, I've noticed I tend to stir things up a bit.

Why is everyone so defensive? Everyone's entitled to their own opinions—there’s no need to get worked up about it. You don't have to prove anything to anyone as long as you know who you are.

I’ll admit, I can be a little judgmental too, like others who think they know it all and insist on pushing their ideas on others. But honestly, half the time none of us know what we're talking about. Just let people think what they think—they'll figure it out eventually.

It might be a family thing. My mom does it too, and while it frustrates me sometimes, I’ve come to realize that nothing they say can make me feel bad about who I am.
