When I hear a man say he wants a woman to “submit,” I ask:
What exactly are you asking her to trust you with?
Because direction without vision is dangerous, and leadership without accountability is tyranny.
And to the women who hear that word and recoil ...don’t discard the sacred because of the counterfeit.
True submission doesn’t silence you; it centers you.
It roots you deeper into love’s rhythm, not man’s control.
Somewhere between love and lust, leadership and partnership, the word submission got twisted.
It stopped meaning safety and started meaning surrender.
But in its true form, it’s the balance that keeps love from collapsing under pride.
Find that balance, and you’ll stop mistaking control for connection.
