Every time I see a woman in her late thirties talkin’ ‘bout “I’m at that age where I can date the daddy or the son,” I just cringe a little. Like baby, you sayin’ that out loud? With confidence? ... it sounds suspect.
And lately there was this one video of a black woman who actually tried to bring some sense to the convo... she said point blank, “If we gon’ call men predators for chasing young girls, we need to hold women accountable for doing the same thing.” Period.
But oh, the internet was in shambles! The same women who stay preaching about “protecting the girls” were in the comments doing mental gymnastics to justify dating a 20-year-old. Like sis, you can’t call it empowerment when it’s you doing the exploiting. What’s fair is fair. If it’s creepy when men do it...t’s still creepy when women do it. Equality don’t skip when it’s convenient.
