Symbols are not scriptures.
Tradition is not idolatry.
When people misunderstand structure, they invent cults to fill the void.
The real question is never:
“Does it look sacred?”
but
“Do I understand the system it comes from?”
Most reactions weren’t spiritual discernment.
They were cultural unfamiliarity dressed as holy outrage.
Fear is a teacher, but a poor historian.
