Let’s correct something important.
Scripture does not flatten every sexual encounter into the same level of covenant.
There is a difference between:
- sin
- misuse of the body
- covenant marriage
- and God’s design for union
The Bible is serious about sexual integrity, yes.
But it is also precise.
Covenant, in Scripture, is not multiplied casually by brokenness. It is formed by intention, structure, and divine order, not simply by physical history.
To reduce every past to “marriage” is emotionally charged language, not theological accuracy.
And truth does not need exaggeration to stand.
