Christ Is Not Running for Office

Christ does not belong to a political party. ✝️

Not conservative. Not liberal. Not red. Not blue.

And how someone votes is a personal decision not a measure of their salvation. Too many people have turned the ballot box into a baptismal pool. Vote one way, you’re “righteous.” Vote another way, you’re “lost.” That is not Scripture. That is political theater dressed in church clothes.

Power Has Always Tried to Dress Like God

Look through history. Rulers have always wanted two things:

Power… and divine approval. Kings crowned themselves with God’s language long before modern presidents existed. The Bible saw this pattern coming. When Israel demanded a king, God warned them exactly what power would do.

1,Samuel\ 8:11-13

Samuel told the people a king would take their sons, their daughters, their land, and their labor.

In other words:

Power eventually starts behaving like ownership.

That warning still holds. Many modern leaders. presidents included.. move like kings even inside democratic systems. 👑

They promise salvation during campaigns and deliver policies once they sit on the throne of power. That’s human nature.

Scripture Separates Authority from Worship

The Bible never told believers to worship political leaders.

It told them to recognize authority, but keep their allegiance with God.

Matthew\ 22:21

“Render unto Caesar what is Caesar’s, and unto God what is God’s.”

That line is a boundary. Taxes may belong to Caesar. Your soul does not.

The Illusion of “God’s Candidate”

Every election cycle someone claims: “This is God’s chosen leader.”

Let’s be honest. Most presidents do not walk with God the way Scripture describes. A real relationship with God produces humility, repentance, and accountability. Yet political power often produces the opposite: Control. Image management. And loyalty tests.

That is not discipleship. That is monarchy with better branding.

Christ’s Kingdom Is Not a Campaign

Jesus never organized a voting bloc. He never ran for public office.

He never told the disciples to conquer Rome through elections.

Instead He said something that still unsettles political minds today:

John\ 18:36

“My kingdom is not of this world.”

Christ’s authority does not come from ballots.

It comes from truth.

Vote If You Want

Participate in the system if you believe it helps your community. 🗳️

Choose policies you think protect people. But do not confuse political alignment with spiritual alignment. They are not the same thing. Never have been. Never will be.

Because the moment believers start treating politicians like messiahs… they have already forgotten who the real King is.
How you vote is your personal choice. not your maters.
