Hypergamy: Coming to Terms...

You know, let's dive into the world of relationships and perceptions for a moment, shall we?

So, here's how it goes: There are these regular women out there, like me, right? We're in relationships with guys who genuinely care about and respect us. And you know what? There's no exchange of cash or extravagant gifts happening. It's just good, old-fashioned love and respect.

Now, let's talk about this thing called "hypergamy." Some folks like to dress it up as something fancy, but let's call a spade a spade—it's basically being a gold digger, plain and simple. And you know what? That's been around for ages, no fancy new labels needed.

You know those romantic comedy movies? Yeah, the ones where the guy isn't handing over wads of cash mid-date? That's because real relationships aren't transactional. They're about genuine connection, not financial transactions.

Now, about those places where some people plant themselves hoping to attract a certain kind of partner? Yeah, it's not just about the outer appearance. My energy, how I feel about myself, it all comes through loud and clear. And let's be real, no amount of dolled-up exterior can mask a sour attitude or desperate vibe.

But hey, let's talk about beauty for a sec. It's not just about what I see in the mirror—it's about how people react to me, how they talk about me. If folks are calling me beautiful left and right, well, that's a good sign, right? But if not, maybe it's time for some self-reflection.

And here's the thing about high-class "professionals": Yeah, they might be stunning on the outside, but if there's ugliness on the inside, well, that's gonna shine through eventually. Because guess what? Men might be simple creatures, but they're not stupid. They can sniff out insincerity from a mile away.

So, if I'm not attracting the right kind of attention, maybe it's time to dig a little deeper. Therapy could be a good place to start, because sometimes, it's not about what's on the outside—it's what's on the inside that really matters.
