It's concerning when someone you've known for a long time begins to exhibit a pattern of criticizing and belittling others. Recently, a friend of mine has been displaying this behavior, constantly labeling people as "stupid" or worse. Despite attempts to provide perspective, she continues to find faults in everyone. It's particularly disheartening when other friends point out just how unkind she has become. I'm left wondering why some individuals adopt this mindset that everyone else is inferior. Could it be a form of compensation for something else?
