I don't do Divorce, But I'm Single So...

As a believer in the sanctity of marriage, I hold firm to the principle that divorce should be approached with great caution and only considered in cases of persistent infidelity or abuse.

Yet, I ponder: Is it righteous for one to persist in a marriage built upon deceit, one that should never have been joined in the eyes of God?

In our modern society, do we prioritize the facade of material wealth—grand houses, luxurious cars, extravagant jewelry, and designer attire—over the sacred commitment of marriage?

Should not a husband or wife feel secure in their union to ask any question, without fear of condemnation or diminishment from their spouse?

Do we, as a society, focus too much on the physical intimacies of our marriages, neglecting the deeper spiritual and emotional connections between spouses?

Are we guilty of placing our children's happiness above the health and prosperity of our marriages, neglecting our duties as spouses in pursuit of friendship with our offspring?

Indeed, these are weighty matters that demand contemplation and reflection in the light of biblical teachings.
