Using financial hardship as a way to test someone's commitment may seem clever, but it won't necessarily attract the right kind of man. Just because a man stays after you mention financial difficulties doesn't mean he's capable or ready to help. He might simply sidestep the issue by offering assistance, which doesn't address the deeper questions about his intentions or capacity to support you emotionally. Additionally, relying on someone's willingness to help financially can be misleading and unfair, as it turns the relationship into something transactional rather than genuine. It's important to build connections based on trust and honesty, not financial dependency.
